The variety was obtained at the Institute of Horticulture in Dobele. Fruits have a medium or large size, a truncated-conical shape, and medium ribbing. The skin is greenish-yellow with a brownish or dull red washed-out blush; a distinctive feature is the large light dots on the surface.
The stalk is of medium length, the calyx is semi-open, and both parts are located in deep cavities. The variety is of winter maturity, and the fruit can be stored until March. The plant possesses good winter hardiness; however, in a cool summer, the intensity of the fruit color may decrease.
