The fruits of this variety are characterized by a medium or large size and a spherical shape. The primary color of the apple skin is light green. The flavor qualities of the fruits develop during the storage process from October to January.

The variety is traditional for the Kangasala region, Finland, and is included in national genetic resource collections of fruit crops as a rare local type adapted to the climatic conditions of the region.
