The variety has been known in Russia since the 19th century. The trees are characterized by moderate vigor and a spreading crown, and possess high winter hardiness, which contributed to their widespread distribution in the central and northern regions.

The fruits are small or medium-sized, flat-spherical, and slightly ribbed in shape. The skin is thin, delicate, and varies from white to yellowish in color with red stripes. The flesh is white, delicate, and has a sweet taste with a vinous aftertaste.
