The variety Kirkniemi is a cultivar of Malus domestica of Finnish breeding. It is officially included in the lists of varieties recognized by the nursery association Taimistoviljelijät ry and is considered part of the cultural heritage of local varieties.

The plant is intended for garden cultivation and is adapted to the climatic conditions of Finland corresponding to hardiness zones I–III. The fruits of the variety have a pronounced aroma.
