The tree is medium-sized, has an open crown structure, and bears fruit on spurs. The variety is late-ripening, with fruits maturing in late September or October. The fruits are small to medium in size and conical or flattened-conical in shape. The skin is dark red, almost burgundy in color, sometimes with a purple hue and stripes. The flesh is aromatic.

The variety is intended exclusively for industrial processing; the fruits are not suitable for fresh consumption due to their specific taste. A tendency toward alternate bearing and slow entry into production is characteristic; total yield is low. The tree is susceptible to scab and canker and requires regular pruning.
