Variety description

Fruits are large, round in shape, and uniform. The ground color is greenish-yellow, the surface is almost completely covered with a bright dark red blush with noticeable light-colored lenticels. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, juicy, and crisp.

The tree has medium to vigorous growth, the crown is spreading, and fruiting occurs predominantly on spurs. The variety shows a tendency toward biennial bearing. Fruits can be stored for 5 months or longer under refrigerated conditions.

The variety is late-maturing; harvesting in Belgium takes place in mid-October. The plant is capable of tolerating drought conditions. Susceptibility to scab is noted; preventive calcium treatments against bitter pit are required.
