The variety is a historical cultivar, the description of which is found from the end of the 18th century. The fruits are usually small, with a weight of 50–80 g, and are flat-round or spherical in shape. The skin is smooth, becoming oily upon ripening, yellow in color with an intense red blush or stripes and characteristic lenticels with a red border. The fruits often grow in clusters of up to four.
The apple flesh is yellowish-white, loose, and juicy, possessing a sweetish taste with a subtle aroma. The variety belongs to the autumn group, the harvest period falls in October, and the fruits retain their consumer qualities until November. The apple tree is undemanding to growing conditions, is distinguished by high hardiness, and is used as a table variety, as well as a pollinator for other apple trees.
