The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and forms a broad, flat-rounded, often drooping crown. The variety is demanding in terms of conditions: it prefers warm, sheltered locations and deep, moderately moist soils. It has moderate resistance to scab and powdery mildew, is susceptible to canker in damp conditions, and the frost resistance of the wood is relatively low.

The fruits are large or very large, flat-rounded, and five-angled in shape. The skin is bronze-yellow, matte, with russet spots and lenticels resembling caraway seeds. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a spicy sweet-and-sour taste. The fruits are of the winter maturity group and are prone to wilting in low-humidity storage.

The variety is considered universal and is used for fresh consumption, drying, and the production of juices, wines, and fruit butter.
