The Klosterrambur variety, also known by the synonyms Klosterrambour, Lohrer Rambour, and Grummelore, is a historical folk-bred variety that originated in the Main river region in Bavaria. The first description of the variety was compiled by Reinhard Mertens.

The skin of the fruit is smooth, green-yellow in color, and partially russeted. On the sunny side of the fruit, a blurred striping and marbling appear. Flowering of the variety is mid-early and is considered resistant to adverse weather conditions.
