The tree grows at a moderate pace, with the crown shape changing from narrowly pyramidal to broadly rounded with age. Fruits are medium to large in size, asymmetrical in shape, with characteristic ribs. The thin, smooth skin turns whitish-yellow upon ripening; the flesh is white, loose, and juicy.

The variety belongs to the early summer group; ripening begins in mid-July. Trees are hardy and frost-resistant, resistant to scab, but sensitive to bark diseases, necrosis, and fire blight. On heavy soils, they are prone to canker; on dry soils, they are prone to powdery mildew.

The fruits are extremely sensitive to mechanical damage and prone to pre-harvest drop. The shelf life of the apples is only a few days. The variety is primarily a dessert type, suitable for making puree and baking.
