Fruits are medium to large in size, oblong-oval in shape. The variety name is due to the characteristic curved stalk, which is deformed by pressure from a bump in the fruit basin. The flesh is white, juicy, without a distinct aroma.

The variety is late-ripening; fruits ripen at the end of October and are suitable for winter storage, culinary use, and processing. Fruits are susceptible to bitter pit.
