The tree is medium-sized, with a rounded crown of medium density. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and heat resistance, and exhibits slight biennial bearing.

The variety "Krymske zimne" is classified as late-winter, obtained from open pollination of the "Winesap" variety. The tree is characterized by medium vigor and a wide-rounded, sparse crown. The fruits of both varieties are intended for fresh consumption and long-term storage.
