Trees of the variety are medium-growing or vigorous, forming a rounded crown of medium density, which with age becomes broad-rounded and can take on a drooping shape. The variety enters fruit-bearing 2–3 years after planting, demonstrates high yield with a marked tendency towards biennial bearing.

Fruits are of medium or large size, with a weight of 120–200 g, sometimes reaching 300 g. They have a flat-rounded or round-conical shape, often with slight ribbing. The skin is smooth, thin, becoming pale yellow upon ripening, sometimes with a pinkish-orange blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, fine-grained, with a wine-sweet taste.

The variety is a winter type; fruits ripen in October–November and can be stored until March. The plant is self-sterile and needs pollinators. The tree is demanding in terms of moisture due to low drought tolerance, sensitive to scab on dry soils and to powdery mildew under excessive moisture.
