The Lonjon variety tree has medium vigor, reaching a height of 4–6 meters depending on the rootstock. The fruits ripen at the end of September, have a flattened-round shape, green color with a light red blush, and juicy, firm, yellowish flesh.

The variety has resistance to diseases, which allows it to be used in organic production. Features of the culture include the tendency of the fruits to drop before harvest, which requires control during cultivation. The variety is intended for fresh consumption in traditional and industrial orchards.
