The variety is a winter one: fruits are harvested in October, the consumption period lasts from November to March. The fruits are of medium size, having a flat-round or wide-conical shape. A feature of the fruits is the presence of five distinct ribs. The skin is smooth, thin, light green at the time of harvest, changing to a light yellow shade with the possible appearance of a golden or reddish blush on the sunny side.

The fruit flesh is greenish-white or yellowish, firm, fine-grained and juicy, possessing a sweet-and-sour spicy taste. The tree is characterized by a medium-growing habit, forming a dense, bushy crown prone to spreading in width. The variety is demanding of fertile soils, such as loams, and is sensitive to frost during the early flowering period.
