The tree is characterized by vigorous growth at a young age, forming a powerful high-globular crown with drooping branches. The variety is triploid and a poor pollinator, characterized by irregular bearing. The plant is undemanding to soils and suitable for cultivation at altitudes up to 600 m above sea level. It possesses high winter hardiness, shows resistance to powdery mildew and cancer, but is highly susceptible to scab.

Fruits are large, flattened-globular, and ribbed. The skin is smooth, becomes greasy during storage, and is colored yellow-green with a possible red blush. The flesh is juicy, coarse, greenish to pale yellow, and has a sour or wine-sour taste. The fruits are resistant to mechanical damage and rot.

The variety belongs to the winter group: harvest in October, consumption ripeness begins in January, storage life — until June. Due to mediocre taste qualities in fresh form, the variety is mainly used for preservation and cider production.
