Variety description

The variety is a bud mutation of the Braeburn variety. Fruits are medium-sized, often asymmetrical, covered with a bright red blush on 80–90% of the surface; the skin becomes slightly oily upon ripening. The flesh is light cream in color and is distinguished by its juiciness and crisp texture.

Trees are low- to medium-vigorous, have a compact crown, and reach a height of 4–8 meters. The variety is characterized by abundant fruiting with a weak tendency toward biennial bearing and is self-fertile, although the presence of pollinators from flowering groups 4 or 5 increases yield.

Harvesting dates correspond to the Braeburn variety; fruits maintain quality until the end of winter. The variety is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, fire blight, and bitter pit. It requires a cold winter and a long, hot summer for normal development.
