10 August 2026
The tree forms a wide spreading crown and reaches a height of 6–8 meters, being distinguished by vigorous growth at a young age. Fruits are large or very large, have an uneven, high-sided, wide-ribbed shape. The smooth skin becomes oily during storage, the ground color is yellow-green with a diffuse red blush or stripes.
The variety is late-ripening; harvest maturity occurs in October, consumer maturity from December to May. The flesh is yellowish-white, very firm and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour moderately spicy taste. The variety is hardy, undemanding to soils, suitable for high-altitude areas, and has low susceptibility to scab.
The variety is classified as industrial-technical, widely used for juice production and in cooking; after prolonged storage, it can be consumed as a dessert apple. It is practically not used in commercial fruit growing and is distributed mainly in amateur gardening.
