The tree is of moderate vigor with an upright, spreading crown, fruiting primarily on spurs. The variety is self-sterile and demanding of soil conditions, preferring deep, well-aerated soils.
Fruits are medium-sized, flattened, with pronounced ribbing, due to which the variety is called 'Five-crowned'. The main skin color is greenish-yellow, lemon-yellow when ripe, sometimes with a brownish-red blush. The flesh is firm, crisp, and sweet-sour in taste.
The harvest is collected in mid-October. The fruits possess good resistance to scab and high keeping quality, retaining consumer characteristics until spring.
