The variety is an autumn one, harvested in September. The growth habit of the tree depends on the rootstock type: large spreading crowns form on vigorous rootstocks, whereas with the use of dwarf rootstocks, such as M9, the height is limited to approximately 2 meters.

The fruits are medium or large in size, round or flattened in shape. The flesh is fine-grained, greenish-cream in color. The variety is classified as a dessert type, but it is also suitable for processing, including making mousses and use in baking.

The plant has high winter hardiness. Resistance to powdery mildew is rated as medium or high, while a very high susceptibility to apple scab is noted.
