The variety is the result of crossing Jonadel and Rubín. The tree has a wide-domed crown and is characterized by medium or vigorous growth. Fruiting is abundant and regular, starting early; the variety is capable of fruiting both on long wood and in clusters.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in mid-October, consumer maturity lasts until April. The fruits are large, conical in shape, with yellowish or cream juicy flesh of sweet or sweet-sour taste. The primary color is yellow, with a bright red overcolor and blurred stripes.

The variety possesses good resistance to major fungal diseases, including medium resistance to scab and powdery mildew. In agricultural practice, cross-pollination is recommended, and canopy thinning is preferred over severe shortening of fruit-bearing twigs.
