The Niels Juul variety, also known as Niels Juuls Æble, is an old apple cultivar. It is currently included in the Pometum gene bank at the University of Copenhagen for the conservation of rare and non-commercial varieties.

Genetic studies have confirmed that the variety is triploid (3N). It is also mentioned in scientific papers dedicated to the research of apple juice taste characteristics.
