The variety is a spontaneous seedling that originated in the mid-19th century in Jutland. Currently, the plant is not cultivated on a mass scale and is preserved primarily in specialized genetic collections.
The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for culinary processing. The trees are characterized by low yield. It belongs to the category of early varieties.
The plant exhibits high resistance to fruit tree canker and fruit scab, while leaf infestation by scab reaches 25%. The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew, which affects a significant portion of the shoots.
