The medium-sized tree has a wide, well-branched crown. The fruits are medium-sized, highly rounded, have a yellowish ground skin color with red stripes; a greasy coating may appear during storage. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, of medium density, with an aroma similar to the Cox Orange variety.

The variety is early-flowering; the fruits reach harvest maturity in October. It is distinguished by regular bearing and early onset of fruit production. The variety is highly susceptible to fruit rot, fire blight, and scab, and moderately resistant to powdery mildew and codling moth.

Sensitive to sulfur and copper-based treatments, requires fertile soils and locations protected from the wind. Intended for fresh consumption, grown primarily in the Rhineland region of Germany.
