The variety is local and originates from the Vyšší Brod region in the Czech Republic. The tree grows vigorously, has a sparse crown, enters the bearing period early, and produces abundant yields. Cultivation as low-growing forms is recommended to obtain the largest fruits.

The fruits are distinguished by their very large size, with individual specimens reaching 600 grams, and are juicy and sweet in taste. The variety is intended for immediate consumption, as the flesh quickly becomes mealy and loses its flavor qualities during storage.

The tree is characterized as healthy. The variety is used as an exhibition cultivar and in programs for the conservation of traditional regional varieties in the landscape.
