The variety is a local cultivar adapted to the climate of the Apennine foothills and is widespread in the Marche and Abruzzo regions. The trees grow successfully at altitudes from 450 to 900 meters above sea level. The fruits are of medium to small size and have an asymmetric flattened shape, with skin ranging from intense green to wine-red with a characteristic pink hue.

The flesh of the fruit is white, translucent, firm, and crisp, and possesses a sweet and sour aromatic taste. The variety is distinguished by good keeping quality and is suitable for fresh consumption, dessert preparation, and heat treatment. Due to genetic adaptation to local conditions, the tree exhibits resistance to pests and diseases.
