The rootstock belongs to the semi-dwarf type, with a growth vigor comparable to M.26. It is distinguished by sufficiently high winter hardiness, exceeding the indicators of the M.9 rootstock, and possesses relative resistance to collar rot caused by Phytophthora.

The plant has moderate anchorage, which requires the installation of supports in commercial orchards. At the same time, the rootstock is characterized by high susceptibility to fire blight. In stoolbeds, it propagates well by layering and forms an insignificant amount of root suckers.
