PF Cretesc is a generative rootstock intended for grafting commercial apple varieties. The plant has high vigor, reaching 6–8 meters in height at ten years of age, and is distinguished by good anchorage in the soil.
The rootstock is compatible with most cultivated apple varieties and demonstrates good frost resistance. Features of its use include sensitivity of the root system to excess moisture, delayed entry into fruit bearing for grafted trees, and unsuitability for intensive orchards due to vigorous growth.
