The rootstock belongs to the group of seedling rootstocks and has very high vigor, causing trees at ten years of age to reach 8–9 meters. It adapts well to various soil types, provides firm anchorage, and does not produce root suckers.

Biological features include high frost resistance and root sensitivity to waterlogging, which causes asphyxia. In modern intensive cultivation, the variety is practically not used, as it is unable to restrict crown growth and accelerate the onset of fruiting of grafted varieties.
