The variety is historical and has folk origins. The tree is moderately vigorous, often compact, reaching a height of 2–4 meters. The crown is spherical in youth with drooping branches. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and self-sterility, requiring the presence of pollinator varieties.

Fruits are medium-sized, rounded, with smooth yellow skin and an intense pink-red blush. The flesh is white, juicy, fine-grained, with a spicy sweet-sour taste. The variety is susceptible to scab, cancer, and powdery mildew. Fruit keeping quality is low, and the consumption period after harvest is about one week.
