The tree is vigorous, forming a broad pyramidal crown of medium or large size. The plant is noted for high vitality, winter hardiness, and resistance to scab, although it can be susceptible to Nectria galligena in unfavorable conditions.
The fruit is small or medium in size, broadly rounded, with smooth matte skin of an olive-green or pale yellow color with a dull red or brownish marbled blush. The flesh is very firm, with a spicy, tart-acidic taste.
Harvesting takes place in the second half of October. The variety is considered a processing type and is used for juice and apple wine production, as the fruit has good transportability and retains its consumer qualities until winter if stored properly.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
