The Primula variety is a tree of medium vigor, which may slow down over time, requiring rejuvenating pruning. The variety shows high frost resistance, resistance to scab, and low susceptibility to powdery mildew.

Fruit bearing begins early, and yields are high with regular fruit thinning. Harvesting takes place in the second half of August, and the fruits are ready for consumption immediately after picking. The variety may be a sister cultivar to the Prima apple.

The fruits are medium to small in size, spherical or ovoid in shape, with smooth, shiny skin that is greenish-yellow with a diffused red blush. The flesh is creamy, tender, medium-dense, and very juicy; the taste is characterized as sweet-and-sour. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
