Variety description

The variety is the result of crossing Elstar and X3191 varieties. The tree is characterized by low vigor, early entry into fruiting, and good yield with moderate tendency toward biennial bearing. Flowering occurs approximately 2 days before the Golden Delicious variety.

The variety is mid-season; fruit harvesting takes place from the end of August to the beginning of September. Fruits are round in shape, 70–85 mm in size, and have a two-tone pink-red color with stripes on a yellow-green background. The flesh is firm, and the taste is sweet and sour.

The plant possesses resistance to scab (Vf/Rvi6 gene) but is susceptible to powdery mildew. The fruits store well: until January in a regular refrigerator and until April under controlled atmosphere conditions.
