The variety is a mutant of the Starkrimson apple and belongs to the Red Delicious group. The trees have a spur-type growth habit, which provides them with low vigor and suitability for intensive orchards with high planting density. The variety is characterized by high, regular yields.

The fruits are large, spherical-conical in shape with characteristic ribs in the lower part and an intense bright red color. The variety is a winter one; harvest typically falls in the second half of September. The fruits possess a sweet taste and high keeping quality during storage.

To ensure stable yields, the variety requires pollinators, such as Gloster, Golden Delicious, Elstar, Fuji, Idared, Gala, Everest, or Golden Hornet. The plant is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies on various clonal rootstocks.
