The tree is of medium height with a spreading spherical crown, characterized by longevity and vigorous growth. Fruits are medium-sized, from 45 to 130 g, having a hemispherical or broadly conical shape. The ground color of the skin is light green with an intense violet-red or dark red blush.

The fruit flesh is juicy, greenish-white or yellowish-white, and often contains reddish veins. The variety is early-bearing, but prone to biennial bearing and shedding of mature fruits. Trees are susceptible to scab and canker, while showing high tolerance to drought and excess moisture.

Fruits are intended primarily for fresh consumption, and are also suitable for drying and processing into sauces or compotes. Shelf life is short, as the flesh quickly becomes mealy when overripe. Transportability is rated as medium.
