The variety is a medium-sized tree with a compact, upright crown, reaching a height of about 3 meters. It is classified as an early winter or autumn variety, with the fruit ripening period lasting from late August to early October.
The fruits are round, weigh 120–180 g, and are covered with an intense dark red or burgundy blush. The flesh is pinkish-red, juicy, and crisp. The shelf life of the fruits is up to three months, and a strawberry aroma develops during storage.
The variety has increased resistance to scab, powdery mildew, and high frost resistance. Fruiting occurs on spurs; thinning of ovaries is required to obtain large-sized fruits.
The purpose of the variety is for dessert; it is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices, cider, jams, and for drying. Data on the self-fertility of the variety in different sources are contradictory.
