The variety is a mutant that arose as a result of natural genetic changes. The tree is characterized by high vigor and requires intensive formative pruning. Yield is characterized as unstable, highly dependent on the quality of agronomic practices.
Fruits of the autumn maturity group have an aromatic sweet taste typical of the Elstar variety. The coloration of the fruits varies from golden-yellow with red marbling to saturated red shades. The variety is demanding in maintenance and is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, fire blight, fruit tree canker, and spider mites.
The keeping quality of the fruits is good when the temperature regime is observed; the storage period lasts until January at temperatures below 4 °C.
