The variety is a mutation of the Elstar apple tree. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a less dense crown compared to the original variety, which simplifies maintenance. The variety has high productivity and requires fruit thinning to maintain stable yields; it is characterized by increased winter hardiness.

The fruits are medium to large in size, have a green-yellow ground color and a solid dark-red blush covering almost the entire surface. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is a dessert type, partially self-fertile, and requires the presence of pollinator varieties; it ripens from the end of August to mid-September.
