The variety is a vigorous, winter-hardy tree with weeping branches and a rounded crown. Flowering is early, and fruit buds are primarily formed on old wood. The variety is sensitive to apple scab, but otherwise, the tree is characterized as hardy.

Medium-sized fruits ripen in mid-September. The flesh is white with a salmon tint, and the skin is thin. The fruits are dessert-quality, suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and processing into juice. The shelf life of the fruit is up to 4 weeks in a refrigerator.
