The variety is a mutation of the Elstar apple tree, obtained to improve the appearance of the fruit. Trees are characterized by vigorous or medium growth, which varies depending on the rootstock. The variety is prone to biennial bearing and requires pruning and fruit thinning due to a predisposition to crop overload.

Fruits are of medium size, weighing 120–200 g, have a rounded shape, firm juicy white-cream flesh, and a sweet-sour taste. Harvesting is carried out in September. Fruits have good keeping quality, retaining their commercial properties until spring when stored in a refrigerator or controlled atmosphere.

The variety is considered demanding in terms of care. Susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and fire blight is noted.
