The variety is the result of crossing «Starking Delicious» and «Golden Delicious». Trees are vigorous, forming a dense, highly rounded or oval crown. Fruiting begins in the 3rd–4th year after planting; the variety is characterized by high productivity and is self-incompatible.

The fruits have a round or short-cylindrical shape, a weight of 150–200 g, and a golden-yellow color with an intense dark red diffused blush. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, tender, and aromatic. It is a winter ripening variety with moderate winter hardiness down to -26°C.

The variety is suitable for intensive orchards and is demanding of soil fertility and the presence of irrigation. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption as well as for processing into cider and puree. The variety is weakly affected by powdery mildew, but shows susceptibility to scab.
