Variety description

The variety is a seedling of the Braeburn variety obtained from open pollination. The tree has medium vigor, which decreases after the onset of fruiting. The crown is open, of medium density, with drooping branches.

The fruits are medium-sized, spherical in shape with smooth skin and a waxy coating. The flesh is firm and has a sweet-and-sour taste. In a regular refrigerator, the storage life of the fruits is 4–5 months; under controlled atmosphere conditions, it is from 6 to 9 months.

The variety is moderately winter hardy; resistance to scab and powdery mildew is assessed as low to medium. The varieties Evereste, Prof. Sprenger, and Golden Hornet are recommended as pollinators.
