Variety description

The variety forms a tree 2–3 meters in height with a crown width of about 30–40 cm. The harvest ripens from mid-September, and the fruits can be stored until February. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.

The dark red fruits have firm, crisp flesh. The taste is sweet-tart, with characteristics similar to the Gala variety. The tree possesses some resistance to scab, powdery mildew, and canker, although breeding work to improve immunity is ongoing.

It is important not to confuse this variety with Red Katty, which is characterized by red flesh, whereas Redcats has light or cream-colored flesh.
