The variety originated in Somerset in the early 20th century. The fruits are medium-sized, have a greenish-yellow ground color, and are often covered with a red blush. It is characterized by a high content of acids and tannins, which ensures a balanced and full-bodied cider taste.

The tree is noted for its vigorous growth and good adaptation to temperate climates. The harvest matures in October-November. The variety is considered reliable for cultivation.
