Red Windsor, also known as Red Alkmene or Ceeval, is a red mutation of the Alkmene variety. The fruits have a slightly flattened shape, russeting is often observed on the skin, and the ground color of the fruit is dark bright red.

The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and a compact, upright-spreading form, usually reaching a height of about 3 meters. The variety is self-fertile, provides regular and abundant yields, while exhibiting low susceptibility to scab and resistance of flowers to spring frosts.

The apples are intended for table use and are characterized by juicy, crisp, and firm flesh, as well as a balanced sweet taste with a hint of acidity. The ripening period occurs in September, and the fruits retain their quality during storage in a refrigerator for 1–2 months.
