The variety was bred in 1967 by crossing the James Grieve and BK 44,18 varieties. The tree is small to medium in size with a dense branched crown, reaching a height of 2 to 4 meters. Fruits are medium-sized, round or round-conical in shape, yellow with a red blush.

Harvest maturity occurs in September, with a consumption period lasting until November. The flesh is juicy, fine-grained, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety possesses high resistance to scab and good winter hardiness.
