The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, reaching 4–6 meters in height at ten years of age. The variety is characterized by medium susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, with high sensitivity to fruit tree canker noted. The variety is an excellent pollinator for other apple trees due to its extended flowering period.

The medium-sized fruits have a round-conical or flat shape. The skin is yellow with an orange-red blush and a netted russeting. The flesh is yellowish, firm and juicy, with a balance of sugar and acid and a spicy aroma. The fruits are for universal use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and cider production.
