The variety is a traditional local plant of the Galicia region. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-upright crown shape, and demonstrates good adaptation to a humid climate and resistance to apple canker.

The fruits are large or medium-sized with red skin and dense white flesh with a sweet taste. Harvesting is carried out in November. The variety has high keeping quality indicators, allowing the fruits to be stored until May.
