Fruits of the rennet group most often have a flat-spherical or round-conical shape. The skin of the fruits is often rough, with a characteristic sign in the form of russeting.

These apples are universal, suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing. In cooking, they are highly valued for their ability to retain their shape and rich aroma during heat treatment in baking.
