The tree is vigorous, with a spreading crown and strong branches. The large or very large fruits have a truncate-conical, often irregular or round-flattened shape. The skin is greenish-yellow, sometimes with a reddish tinge and characteristic russeting.

The flesh is tender, juicy, and creamy-white, with a wine-sweet taste with a slight acidity. It is a winter-maturing variety: harvesting begins in mid-September, and consumer maturity is reached by December. The fruits are characterized by good keeping quality, maintaining their quality until March.

The variety is demanding of growing conditions and prefers warm, sunny sites. A slow onset of bearing and biennial bearing are noted. The variety is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, and bitter pit. It requires the presence of pollinator varieties.
